Like the Hatsvali ski resort, Tetnuldi is located in the village of Mestia. You'll have to get to it. The village is located relatively far from the capital of Georgia. To save time on the road, plan your trip in advance. The journey is almost 500 km, the journey takes about 10 hours. Buses depart from Tbilisi Airport and Train Station. There is no exact schedule. You may have to go to Zugdidi with a stopover. You can get to Zugdidi by train. Check the schedule and availability of the train in advance. There will be a lot of transport, minibuses, buses and taxis from Zugdidi to Mestia. A private jet is a separate story. It happens. It flies from Natakhtari Airport to Mestia. The schedule changes a lot. It flies about 1.5 hours.
On your own
It is best to start your trip to the resort at one of Georgia's international airports: Tbilisi or Kutaisi. If you fly to the capital, Tbilisi, the village of Mestia is 480 kilometers away. Then you need to get from the village to the resort. Tetnuldi on the map is very close to Mestia, but 15 kilometers take 40 minutes. If you come by car, there will be no problems — the road is straight and you will get used to the serpentine.
From Tbilisi
Minibus. It departs every day in the morning from the railway station. 8 hours to drive. It is better to check the exact description on the spot. You can travel from 6 hours to Zugdidi by train, from there to Mestia by minibuses. There is a plane flight for 15 people flying several times a week. Departs from Natakhtari suburban airport at 9:00am. The journey takes 1.5 hours.
From Batumi
The distance between Batumi and Mestia is 270 kilometers. If you suddenly want to change the sea to mountains, you will only have to go through Zugdidi — there are no direct flights. You can book a car with a driver to Mestia both from Batumi and from the airport.
From Kutaisi
It is less than 240 kilometers from Kutaisi. Buses from the bus station constantly run along the route, and you can also get to Zugdidi and change there. A private transfer from Kutaisi Airport to Mestia costs from $80.
