It is now the newest and most modern resort in the country. Immediately after its opening, it surpassed almost all competitors, and is second only to Gudauri in size. The resort is located in Upper Svaneti, 15 kilometers from the village of Mestia, at the foot of Mount Tetnuldi with a height of 4,869 meters.
Ski pass
A single ski pass is available, allowing you to use the lifts of all ski resorts. Children under 6 years old are free of charge. Children's ticket from 6 to 16 years old Student ski pass if ISIC is available. Card payment. In cash only GEL/lari
Trail features
Currently, Tetnuldi has 4 ski lifts and 4 main routes. There are comfortable slopes for freeriding, and they are suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers. The longest total descent is 9 kilometers. Only blue tracks are next in line, ideal for beginners: a gentle slope with small turns and an open wild slope with a puff. There are also blue slopes on the 2nd line, but they are steeper. Line 3 offers black tracks at the top and red ones at the bottom with a narrow steep start and a wider continuation.
Features
Compared to the popular Gudauri and Bakuriani, it is not crowded here. At the height of the season, there may well be no queues for any ski lift. Tetnuldi is just beginning to develop, so guides and instructors here are not professional, local. The resort and throughout Svaneti have very beautiful nature, there are many gorges and glaciers, so it is also aesthetically pleasing to ride here. The main disadvantage so far is that the Tetnuldi ski resort is not equipped. You will have to live 15 kilometers away, which is an additional transfer cost.
Freeride
The ski resort in Tetnuldi is ready to compete with the Gudauri ski resort for the best freeride. You can now go to the untreated slope from any cable car. From the ridge near the upper station — 100-150 meters up — there is an excellent descent along a steep and gentle puff, through the forest to a deep hollow with a roll out to the beginning of the side lift. If you want something easier, there are nice gentle slopes along lines 1 and 2. Thrill-seekers can even try freeriding from the top of Mount Tetnuldi
